Who We Are

San Lucas United Church of Christ is a Humboldt Park church committed in the struggle for justice, peace, and the liberation of all people.  We identify with the needs of an oppressed people that are in search of freedom and stand in solidarity with the struggle of the poor. Our motto is "Faith In Action".

What We Do

San Lucas United Church of Christ provides bilingual worship services on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Other services provided by San Lucas Church include the Hot Meal Program, where every Tuesday at 12 noon, community residents are provided with a hot meal. The Food Pantry provides community residents with groceries every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month and the Produce Mobile Program provides fresh fruits and vegetables every Third Monday of the month.

The Thrift Store provides residents with clothing/shoes, household needs, on Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Community residents are provided assistance with their energy bill during the winter months through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) administered at our office from September to May.

The church also holds cultural events and provides space for other community organizations to hold meetings.
